AltGen Kenya has been supporting the roll out of several engineering and construction projects in the Eastern African landscape. Initially assisting with the staffing of the 8.5MW PV plant Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda, AltGen then successfully executed on the full scope of recruitment for the Lake Turkana Wind Park project on behalf of Vestas. This engagement included the sourcing and boarding of the EPC and later the O&M teams.
Subsequent engagements have seen AltGen Kenya taking on a Supervisory Consulting role on behalf of the GBP 30 million AFD / DFID Green Mini-Grid (GMG) program, which aims to bring 10 – 15 commercially viable GMG’s on board in the next 3 – 5 years by facilitating access to financial and technical assistance, with the main objective being to contribute to the cost-effective, reliable and sustainable power supply in rural Kenya.
AltGen Kenya is able to act as both a recruitment company and consultants in the Eastern African market, operating independently and impartially in all instances, and is thus the answer for recruitment, employment services or consulting and research / knowledge management needs, specifically at the point of job creation in the economy.
