Our client, a global force in the development, construction and O&M of renewable energy initiatives is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Construction Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction Site Manager to bolster their career in a fast growing market of utility-scale Solar PV implementation.
The Construction Site Manager will find themselves responsible for the full-scope of successful implementation of Solar PV farms, thus required to have such a depth of knowledge in the field that they are able to foresee obstacles and risks before they are a problem. The chosen individual will understand every step of the construction process which will enable them to manage, advise and liaise with all relevant parties, such as the: technical teams, Project Manager, HSE officers and various stakeholders.
Duties will include, and are not limited to, ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met, achieve planning and meeting deadlines, manage budgeting, identify and mitigate risks throughout execution, engaging with stakeholders and potentially the client, ensure correct permitting, manage the commissioning process and relevant contracts administration, implement quality management, reporting, implementing best practices, performance and resources management. In between projects, you may be requested to be involved in the electrical aspects of PV system/plant design.
In order for a smooth handover to the client, you will need to ensure all requirements and specifications are met (and monitored) within the time-lines designated.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, will be proactive and have a keen eye for detail to ensure that they reflect the exemplary quality standards of the client.
