Do you have a well-established network in the South African energy market, exhibiting excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as management abilities? We are looking for Project Developers with proven experience meeting KPIs in the development and acquisition of wind and solar projects across Africa.
This job opportunity is perfect for you if you have a wealth of knowledge surrounding the renewable energy industry, more specifically a strong understanding of the REIPPPP project development processes in South Africa. You will be responsible for the initial development of a renewable energy project, developing new opportunities, directions and strategies for the Project Managers to follow throughout the entirety of the project’s lifecycle. In addition to this, you are comfortable working with various governmental departments and private parties who allow for industrial construction developments, especially those within the REIPPPP. You will be highly organised as you deploy scheduled milestones in a timely manner and according to plan. As the REI4P begins to kick-off and your projects are being developed by the team, you will find yourself travelling to third world countries abroad, extending your expertise in project development in new emerging markets!
