If you are the ideal person for this role, you will have a Master’s Degree in Economic-Business Administration or Engineering paired with an MBA. You are experienced in sales and business development within Southern and Eastern Africa and have a great understanding of the complete value chain – from sales and engineering right through to O&M. As you will find yourself dealing with prospect clients, it is vital that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to successfully secure customer loyalty. It is important that you know what you’re talking about when it comes to the business case for wind energy as you will be responsible for enlightening clients on such matters. Other responsibilities will include scouting and pursuing sales prospects within chosen regions, managing the big management process, being the company ambassador through supporting the political agenda and marketing activities of the company, and analysing and providing feedback on the sales process.
