We are looking for a driven Solar Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives for solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector. This role involves frequent travel to client sites across Eastern Africa to develop solutions, build business cases, and drive market growth.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for business case development
- Experience engaging with C&I clients and delivering tailored energy solutions
- Demonstrated success in market expansion and client acquisition
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies targeting off-grid and on-grid C&I markets
- Meet clients on-site to understand their energy needs and propose customized solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams to create business cases and sales presentations
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in Tanzania and Zanzibar
- Collect technical and financial data to inform solution development
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and promotional activities
